Life support.
For when life is harder than expected.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been the human people call when things go sideways—the natural solution-finder. Little did I know that would become my life’s calling. I’m Katrina—coach, caregiver advocate, media producer, and yes, “crisis” is literally one of my services.
I’d been “working on myself” for years before my mom was diagnosed with young-onset dementia— therapy, coaching, yoga, meditation, self-help books, healthy eating, all of it—so becoming a coach felt like a natural progression.
My mom’s diagnosis came as a shock and flipped the script on everything. Fortunately the self work had shifted some old, stuck feelings and built a foundation to stand on, because it was hard. Like “I suck” and “how can this be happening” hard. I had been doing so good at life, but what I’d never been good at was being in a relationship with my mom.
I pushed back on her, as I always had, and it made things worse. It was a strong dose of “what we resist persists,” and as usual I had been focused on changing her. Finally—after what felt like forever —I realized the only way through was to do things differently and change me. I did, and it worked.
Life Support Services
I show up with both heart and tools: practical hacks that actually work in real life and always have your back.
Here are three ways to work with me and receive life support:
Life Coaching — Life comes complete with loads of surprises, transitions, heavy lifting and feelings. For big decisions, blocks, major life transitions and self discovery. I help you clear stress, find clarity, and step onto your path. When the going gets tougher than you anticipated or not the way you planned. If you’re ready to shift — it just takes an inch — I’m your person.
Caregiver Coaching — If you’re “helping” someone — a parent, partner, child, sibling, friend, or neighbour, you’re probably already a caregiver. Helping is caring. And caring requires help. Whether you’re about to walk in or already running, I support you with system navigation, emotional tools, boundary finding, recovery tips, caregiving hacks and staying connected to you and the person you care for.
Ka-Triage — When you have a 911 and need someone right now, not next week for immediate crisis-mode support: get grounded, address the urgent and solution-find. Let’s work it out.
